Introduction

Welcome to my take on the Ultimate Sim Challenge.

This Challenge was introduced by llandros09. The original rules can be found here. You should also check out his Youtube-Channel, where he's played quite a few seasons himself.

I changed a few things, so they suit my own playstyle a bit better:
  1.  No early Alchemy Skill
    - In the original rules, you're allowed the alchemy skill in the first season. Since the skill is relevant for 2 careers (Alchemist and Fortune Teller), I won't allow that in my playthrough.
  2. Must have a child younger than Young Adult at all times (except the beginning)
    - Exception: Beginning of Season 1
    - Adoption, if current wife is an elder or most recent partner just died
    - Sim/Partner must be at least pregnant by the time the youngest child reaches Young Adulthood
  3. Must be married/in a steady relationship with a moved in partner at all times
    - I created a wife to start off with, marriage during university / on first day in Sunset Valley is also ok
    - No new Partner during Mourning Period after most recent spouse died.
    - If Sim has Cold Heartet Life Time Reward, a new partner must be moved in/married ASAP.
    - If FreeWill makes them split up (eg. Cheating), move in new partner, but don't move out old partner.
  4. Your Partner always has to have the same Occult as you.
    - Change them immediately when marrying someone with the wrong occult oder moving to a new Season.
  5. Your Children can never change their Occult.
  6. Your partner and children can't be controlled by you
    - they are active, you just can't tell them what to do
    - Exceptions are to fix bugs/glitches, clean up/out inventory
    - Can still group up with them, go to lot with them or accept wishes/opportunities for them. They must fulfill the wishes/opportunities themselves
    - You are allowed to give them jobs (including PartTime for Teens)
  7. Skills that are relevant for a certain career in that season can only be skilled, when in that career
    - Example: Season 2, no skilling painting until in the painter career (Skillpoints you gain in university during that one mandatory class is ok)
    - Season 1 Charisma is alright, it's not used for a job in that season (Charisma-Jobs are in later seasons)
  8. No Pausing, except for fixing bugs/glitches and taking pictures
  9. Only earn money through current careers and opportunities
    - No selling collectables, Celebrity/Attraction gifts, etc.
    - Celebrity/Attraction gifts can be put on your lot and sold with the lot when moving
  10. No celebrity-system until Bridgeport. Celebrity must stay active for the remainder of the challenge (don't need to stay on lvl 5)
  11. Only buy 1 LifeTimeReward after reaching a Milestone:
    - Master a Skill (Level 10 and all Skill Challenges, only once per Skill)
    - Master a Career (Level 3 PartTime, Level 5 Special, Level 10 all other careers)
    - Earn a Degree
    - Reach Level 10 of a Social Group (only once per Social Group)
    - Raise a child to Young Adult (Twins: 2 LifeTimeRewards, Triplets 3, etc.)
    - Finish a Town
I might add on to those rules while playing.
